Julie A. Kennedy, DMD

Dr. Kennedy was born and raised in Southern Illinois. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Southern Illinois University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kennedy then completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Roudebush VAMC in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a second year as Chief Resident at the West Palm Beach VAMC in West Palm Beach, Florida. She then attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for her specialty training where she received her Certificate in Endodontics.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Kennedy enjoys a wide variety of activities. She is an accomplished classical pianist, plays guitar, and writes music. She enjoys jetskiing in the Keys, paddleboarding , and being near the beach.

Dr. Kennedy is an animal lover and has a special interest in boxer rescue organizations. She has a boxer, Mozart, a min-pin named Mandy, and an Umbrella Cockatoo named Casey.

Dentistry Team

Shannon

Our office manager, Shannon, is originally from Texas. She has been in the dental field for over 30 years and has worked with Dr. Kennedy since the opening of her practice in 2003. She has a vast knowledge of dental insurances and will be happy to assist you with any questions regarding your dental insurance coverage.

Shannon is an avid animal lover and is known in our office as “The Animal Whisperer”. She currently has two dogs and a moluccan cockatoo but has been known to rescue and raise an iguana and a rabbit. She enjoys antiquing, reading, and Mexican food.

Pamela

Pamela is our Certified Dental Assistant. She grew up here in West Palm Beach and graduated dental assisting school from PBCC in 1998. She immediately entered the field of endodontics and has worked side-by-side with Dr. Kennedy for 17 years. Her sincere and caring manner is readily felt by all our patients.

She is a member of the Dental Assisting National Boards and President of the American Legion Auxillary Unit 141. She has 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. She loves nature and has canoed many rivers, hiked high into the Colorado Rockies, and has even ridden a mule to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
